Howland explains that Pythagoras, the ancient Greek philosopher, was one of the first recorded people to use music prescriptively as a way to heal both physically and emotionally. This practice extends beyond the ancient Greeks and has likely been around since the beginning of time. In this video, Howland explains how music and sound in modern times have combined with neuroscience to optimize healing and recovery from advanced diseases and disorders.
